Napoli, Argentina, Germany under Beckenbauer, Brazil and Cardiff City

Better, much better

3-5-2. An exotic formation but it works for Napoli, Argentina, Germany under Beckenbauer, Brazil and, well maybe us.

Clever Solskjaer.
As I have been saying Gunnarsson makes the difference. When he was taken off a little devilry is sucked out from the Cardiff play. He breaks up their midfield and he spoils their attacks. He can move forward and is sensible in his passing.

If we had played like that against Hull and Aston Villa we would have been sitting a little higher up the hill and writing thank you letters to Vincent Tan - ok I exaggerate a little.

This is a good team and a strong formation. Fabio benefits hugely as he can play further forward and not be such a liability with the oceans of space he leaves behind him - as can Declan John.

Solskjaer and the rest of can gain hope from this.

A point here was always a little too much to ask but it gives us confidence that we can get points off Fulham and maybe West Brom. Everton and Liverpool look too tough.
Next month we play Palace, Southampton, Stoke and Sunderland all of which are possible point gainers. We do not want to go into may chasing points at Newcastle and against Chelsea at home.

We could have got one today with Caulker finding the bar when the goal was easier. When you are desperate for points you hit the bar, the ball won't fall for you in the penalty area and the ball hits the the corner flag rather going for a corner.

So five wins from Fulham, West Brom, Palace, Stoke and Sunderland?

Hmm. Maybe, just maybe.
